## Screenshots

This machine runs a tiling window manager, so a normal browser window will not keep the size you request. Helium can screenshot a page headless, at an exact size, without opening a window.

KeePassXC answers Freedesktop secret-service requests, so a Helium launch that uses the default profile can pop a prompt. `--password-store=basic` uses a plain local store instead, and a throwaway `--user-data-dir` has nothing stored there to unlock.

```bash
helium --headless --disable-gpu \
  --password-store=basic \
  --user-data-dir=/tmp/helium-shot-profile \
  --no-first-run --no-default-browser-check \
  --window-size=1100,900 \
  --screenshot=/tmp/page.png \
  --virtual-time-budget=4000 \
  file://$HOME/.cache/feedfetcher/feeds.html
A phone-width check is the same command with --window-size=390,844.
For a scripted session that clicks and types, drive Helium through chromedriver with the same flags: --headless=new, --disable-gpu, --password-store=basic, --no-first-run, --no-default-browser-check, and a unique --user-data-dir. Set the viewport with the session window size rather than --window-size, which this Helium build ignores when chromedriver launches it.
General practices & Style
  • Keep the comments short and only add them when the code's functionality isn't clear on its own. Make them timeless, i.e. don't comment on recent code changes. Include a short comment with each function definition describing what the function does and its expected parameters & return value.
  • Don't execute any Git commits, those will be done manually.
  • Use the --from-cache option when testing layout changes.
  • Keep edits to the AGENTS.md file to a minimum.
