Below is a list of all the tracks on the new CD. This one was recorded in the late winter/early spring of 1999. We decided to do this one all computer-based, using Cakewalk Pro Audio. The drawback to doing that, though, was getting enough live simultaneous tracks. We tried several methods, like laying down an instrument at a time, multiple sound cards, etc., but none of them seemed to make us happy. So we ended up recording the core instruments (Josh, Mike, Chad, and I) all at the same time, mixed down into two tracks before they were even converted to digital. That worked fairly well, except that now we can't go back and make level adjustments to those instruments. Anyway, then we layered down vocals (lots of them!), horns, and me screwing around on a MIDI keyboard. Somehow, it all worked, and it sounded real good.
